Thanks Eddie! I think ythat has a hefty pricetag; I want to get some more experience before I tackle that one.

Get into Flash, you will find it more use and flexible with a wide range of applications.
Apart from just creating vector animation you can also put some magic behind it with AS3 (Action script 3)

For starter i'd suggest to use apple motion to receive lightfast results. Photoshop-User should of course use after effects...
and there is still combustion & shake for later.
