P5 offering Audio

OK so the new agreement is adjusted for audio as well. Im decent at making music, how is it going to work here?

Do you all want mp3s or wavs?

I worked with a group that had music on itunes and they wanted mp3s at a somewhat high bitrate. However they did not use uncompressed audio files. FYI mp3 keeps the highest frequency at any given moment, because the human brain can only process the loudest sound at any given moment. In my opinion a high quality mp3 is good, Im thinking 320.

I use FL Studio 9, Sytrus, Octopus, the varazdin orchestral pack (direct wave), and Toxic Biohazard.

hey Mark, thanks and congrats for actually reading the agreement - impressive! We added the crediting clause mainly on your suggestion.

Audio will work pretty much the same as video -- upload music and sound effects, set a price, and sell. :)

We prefer WAVs or AIFFs but will accept high bitrate MP3s (above 192 kb/s). We'll be writing up a specs doc for audio shortly.

I guess the only problem is it might be difficult to keyword. hmm My music doesnt seem to follow strict categories.

Hmm.... need categories like "bad mood", "mad at the cat", "sore tooth"...

Since stock video has his own drop down menu now i wouldn't be surprised if audio got his own menu with different categories.
