Format conversion offer

I have found this on the FAQ page:

That´s very good! But I am wondering if this offer couldn´t be a bit more prominent, maybe even accompanying each clip, and if, instead of directly saying "contact us" it wouldn´t be better to link to a page where you explain at least in general terms how you are doing the conversion?

There could e.g. be a little "star" next to "FPS" together with a link at the bottom, below the links to "full res. still frame" and "watermarked preview". Even "FPS" itself could be the link. Not much change would be needed.

Submitters of 25p and 50i footage would of course benefit more from this conversion offer at the beginning, but the longer Pond5 exists the more it will also become the choice of customers from PAL countries so that in the end providers of 30p and 60i footage would be happy about it as well.

Just a thought...

Good ideas Stefan. We will be doing automatic conversions of clips soon, so clips will not need to be converted after purchase, they'll be available instantly in several formats.

Just one request: When you start to offer the different formats and you are creating them "state of the art", what I am sure you will do, mention that in a visible manner. Not just like "original:..., converted:...).
That´ll be good for all submitters, and thus for P5 :).
