Does nature footage sell?

I, nonetheless, (stubborn and silly as I am) still believe in nature. I even uploaded 30 'nature shots' a few days ago. Regardless of whether or not they sell, I had a lot of fun making them, and that counts for something.

Nature footage does sell, but - as with images - you need to ask yourself "who could use this, to illustrate what?" If I can't answer this simple question within two seconds, I don't bother to press the shutter.
Also footage / images aren't published just because they look nice, but because they fit an article / documentary or whatever. In other words, if nobody writes about it, it won't sell.

Nature footage is easier to create than working with models, for me at least. This creates a lot of competition in that genre. My experience is uploading a lot more nature shots to make the same money that a few model released shots make. With that said, if you love being out in nature, you won't mind having to produce more nature footage to make the same money. It's very therapeutic, you just have to get creative for your clips to stand out. Drones, movement, slow motion, etc...
