at what resolution do you all want 35mm film prints scanned in?? is 2048x1108 ok?

Yes, 2k is a good resolution for 35mm telecine.
2048x1108 is widescreen, so make sure that aspect ratio matches what you shot and that you are dealing with square pixels. We should be able to handle most any resolution, as long as aspect is correct.
