No, actually I got my law degree from baltimore :P
Just kidding :D
I wasn't arguing with you, Im just saying I don't think a judge would sentence Tillasmax for counterfeiting even if he did break all those rules... and what your saying is supporting what I said anyway, in that there is no copyright on the bills image, albiet restrictions.

You're right about the copyright but one can't be to careful with all the fearmongers (BIG BROTHER) around us.

This is slightly off topic, but I once needed some prop money for short film. Naturally, you can buy some, but it's very expensive. If you want a gangster's briefcase full of cash, be prepared to spend quite a bit yourself! Also, because of the aforementioned rules here in the thread, it doesn't withstand a closeup. If it has the same linear dimensions as real money, the imagery has to look very different from the real thing.
I ended up using my own gangster's trick: I knuckled down for a day and used a paper trimmer to slice up a weeks' worth of newspapers, and a few 'proprietary' prop-dressing tricks.

Ahhhh yes, the old trick of newspaper money with a real note on top with a bank band ... so tricky.
Ya I found out about scanning problems when I also needed a "fake" bundle for a picture and the scanner said nope, can't do it for you. Governments are pretty tricky having scanners recognize the real thing and not allow it to be scanned.

Don the scanner will scan the real thing but printer only prints the top half. If the size is reduced than the printer will print the complete bill.
