Referrals and Affiliate?

Can anyone explain how the referral system is supposed to work here? All I have found so far is "Invite a friend". Is there an affialiate model as well? For example, let's someone, like me has a really cool site that gets visited by photags etc.. I would love to put a link on my site and maybe even a news flash about pond5. Is this possible and can it also generate revenue?

I am somewhat new to pond5, but it looks pretty darn good to me. Now if only my clips would get approved - patiently waiting..

and it takes like a week for approval.

The referral program allows you to earn 5% of both sales and purchases by anybody you refer to the site who ends up signing up for an account.

Right now, you can send an email, or cut and paste the code on the "invite a friend" link into your site to add our referral button.

You can also add ?ref=username (where username = your username) to any Pond5 URL, and anybody clicking through the link and registering for an account will be considered one of your referred users.

For instance, you could link to your own artist page with:
http://www.pond5.com/artist/vadervideo?ref=vadervideo

We're going to be expanding this program and doing some very cool stuff with it in the near future.
