Slow Review Process?

I had this idea before, but now I do honestly think that if we start with preferred review requests in the general P5 gallery we would only have more discussions, after those regarding keyword spamming and mis-categorization. The line between normal editorial content and urgent editorial content is often not only hard to draw but also very subjective. Fortunately, natural catastrophes do not occur every day...

The only way I could imagine a fast installation of highly newsworthy editorial content to work is that

-P5 create a separate platform, e.g. called P5 Editorial
-clips uploaded to this section do not get reviewed at all, nor is there any P5 tech support for those clips.
-a disclaimer saying that the clip is strictly (not maybe) for editorial use is automatically added, regardless of the content
-clips uploaded to the editorial section must not be uploaded to the general gallery, in order to avoid the abuse of the editorial section
-artists get disabled from uploading to the editorial section if customers repeatedly complain about their footage

In short words: P5 only provide the servers, the rest is our job. That might work.

I've sold a number of clips directly to news agencies in the past couple of months... So I am seeing a market here... There are a few sites dedicated to Editorial only footage, but I don't see them advertised much and most news agencies I've talked to are unaware of the sites.

So a dedicated site that does a HUGE advertising push to news agencies would be AWESOME.

I uploaded and submitted some clips for review on 2012 Feb 5 haven't gotten approval why It takes All this Time ??

Compared to the 12 weeks from IS this is still really fast! That and after a month all your junk gets shoved to the back of the pack. I have been seeing adverts for P5 everywhere too. I like them!

I uploaded an AE project and P5 approved in 7 hours :) .

Patience... I have had stuff ready for several weeks... sometimes the curators are super busy.
