How did this happen?

I made a sale of this clip I just got approved - and it doesn't even have any views yet?

Someone's buying my footage sight-unseen! Yay!

I remember someone else told me they had a sale without any views, I think the view counter is a little screwy...

It may have been added to the bin from a buyer who only ever saw a hover-over preview.

Just wait until you get a sale before the video is even uploaded.
That will blow your mind.

I suggest that one of curators bought that clip. This would explain everything.

I'm thinking if this continues I could start getting sales on clips I haven't even shot yet!

Random person approaches videographer: "Here's $50 dollars sir"
Videographer: "Wait, what?"
"It's for the amazing clip you're about to shoot"
"Oh, cool, thanks"
Videographer takes cash, then....*road runner bolt away with puff of smoke*
