Upload vs. pending review vs. send to curator

I'm new and I really wish I could figure this out on my own but I can't. On other sites (Shutterstock, for example) you tag the photos with keywords and info, hit submit, and wait.

I uploaded 20 pics to my account. Added keywords and info to 10 and they say "pending review". Am I supposed to "send to curator" to they can be reviewed? I think I am, but when I try to select those 10 and submit, a little box appears and "0 files submitted succesfully".

I have no idea why. Is there something I'm missing? A help file that could help?

Thanks in advance

I am new here as well, and also having similar questions (although on the music side). My track was in "needs edits" status, until I submitted it to curator. Now, it is in "pending review" status. I think this means you have to wait now, as you have already submitted it to the curator for review. This would also explain why you are getting "0 tracks submitted" when you try to submit since they have already been submitted.

This is only based on my one observation and poking around. Good luck!

Hey adam612 - once your uploaded media is done processing it's in "needs edits" status. At that time you can add keywords and other metadata. You can either save and submit on the bottom of the individual edit page for that item, or just save and then submit several items at once using the checkboxes and "send to curator" action on the uploads page. Once you submit they are pending review until either accepted or returned.

Looks like you've got some clips accepted and some others that are still in needs edits awaiting submission.

@LeafyLime - that's correct, if you've submitted for review there is nothing left to do. The item should get through the queue shortly.
