Make Pond5 BIGGER!?

Hi all,
for a year now I’m uploading my footage to Pond5.
I even start selling some, against my expectations.
I really like Pond5 for several reasons.

Reading a lot about selling stock i noticed that almost all the shooters place their footage on multiple sites. I start doing so since a few weeks and i have serious doubts about continuing doing so. Most of them have ridiculous rules like maximum uploads, painstaking ways to tag your footage, unbelievable waiting time for review and not the least, ridiculous low commissions.

My question is:
How can we make Pond5 bigger?
With 25484 user we must be able to do something.
For example, in my region I know a lot of docu-makers, tv stations, producers etc.
When i start plugging pond5 it looks like I want to sell my own footage and it looks like preaching for my own church. But if we start coming forward as a group we must be able to make thing better for all of us.

Any idea's?

Isn't that what we're supposed to do? I always plug my clips. Why would I advertise yours or anyone elses?

When I advertise my portfolio on Pond5, that brings customers here. If they actually buy one of mine or find someone elses to buy is up to them at that point.

but i was wondring what we could do together to make pond5 the biggest.
Then we all benefit together right?

I do not think we are really that many. You are adding the photo guys. The number of contributing members is really the number of accounts. Before the photo merge we were about 4,000. The sustaining proof is that we do not see photo guys in the forums. I advertise my page. Once a customer reaches P5, he has the liberty to buy from my "internal" competition in P5. The benefit if any is a 5% commission fee if they are "new buyers". Individual promotion is getting more important as videos are rising almost exponentially, In a few month there are going to be +1,000,000 clips. Even members with 20,000 clips will only have 2% of the pie.

The "photo guys", many of them don't know their portfolio's are here, because 123RF don't tell the photographers who their partners are. The photo section isn't open to direct uploading yet so there is no reason for still photographers to be here. I have a still portfolio here but it is not under my name or linked to my video portfolio.

Even so the message has to be keep uploading and marketing your clips through P5.

Maybe i'm a dreamer, but i think there must be a uniqeu way, with not to much effort to do something. What? well, thats why is posted this idea/question.
