Hi All, how's it going? My first post here, so pls be gentle!! I am creative abstract loops and noticed most of my work is in 4:3 (though I'm sure I exported in 16:9!!). I was thinking about reformatting all of my clips to 16:9. There's about 150, so it's going to be alot of work, and I was wondering what people's advice was on this. Would it be worth the effort, bearing in mind the work is DV quality and selling for between $5-15. Many thanks in advance!!

Also, all of my work is in PAL format, so this is limiting my market and alienating US customers, right? Does Pond5 accept duplicate clips in different formats?

A lot of people will go into the stats of what format sells more than others etc.. but as someone with DV PAL, NTSC and HD clips here all I can say is it's the content that sells, formats are secondary. Of course that's not to say that given a choice people won't choose HD over SD, but it really depends on the quality of clip and whether the buyer wants it/needs it or not.
Just as an example, in my few months here at P5 I have sold ONLY DVPAL clips. And to answer your question, yes P5 does accept clips in multiple formats but I don't really think its worth the effort
EDIT: Oh and another thing, try changing the aspect ratio on the edit clip page to change to 16:9
