Hello everyone.
I have a problem, i got some shiny props for filming in my humble studio.
Is it possible to film them without seeing my reflection in them. some kind of trick or something.
I hope some of you that are experienced can help me with this problem.
Peace

Hey Vla_Dimir,
You might be able to use a light tent to minimize reflections. Most have front panels with small access hole or slit for video camera access. The tent also gives better distribution of light and often come with different color backdrops
Best of luck
Jeff

in a tiny studio with reflective material on stage, it will be difficult. You will need to paint or cover all walls in dark black material, dress in full dark black clothes and cover your camera with a black blanket.

I did a project where I had to key some really intricate rings from a jewelry company here for some commercial work - they wanted the rings to "float" in space and at the same time rotate and have the camera fly around them. It took me about 6 months to figure out how to setup the tent, the green stripe, the camera driving mechanism (I call it my contraption) etc.. it is not easy, but finally like I said, about 6 months in I finally figured it out.
You can see an example of the result at 2:29 in the video below:
