Time-lapse footage

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Pond5 and I want to make a time-lapse footage from a sequence of images, I've about 200 images in sequence and I tried to make a video using "CyberLink PowerDirector" but I'm not happy with the quality of the output even with hight quality .mov option...which gives me 17 sec video with only 33 mb file size..btw my images are 1920 X 1080 px

I need your help to make files with Pond5 requirements.
Any help will be much appreciated.

I think I found the answer, I'll try AE

Use AE and import them as a sequence. When changing speed in AE make sure to use the Advanced Frame Blending mode. Make sure the switch is set to high quality (the render times are horrible, but the final quality is amazing---only thing better is Twixtor). Good luck!

I'm using AE but I can't find "Advanced Frame " for the Blending mode, I'm using "normal" is that OK?

Or get Quicktime Pro, cheap and works like a charm. Import image sequence, pick the frame rate and then export in whatever format you want

rmcwilson wasn't referring to the "Blending Mode" in AE, he was referring to "Frame Blending", which is totally different. The "Frame Blending" button is at the top of the timeline pallette on the left side above your layer names. It looks like a piece of a reel of film. You click on that to turn it on for the entire comp, then click the empty box with the same icon in the individual layer itself. A diagonal line will appear in the empty box. In the highest quality mode, this line runs in a northwest/southeast direction. AE will then calculate each rendered timelapse frame by averaging the "sub" frames from the original UN-timelapsed frame progression. Hope this helps.
