Broke My Back

Those things should have airbags to soften the fall and something to protect against decapitation. Most crashes are low altitude collisions against an unseen obstacle.

My machine had large air shocks and I think that really saved me from death. I hit straight down on them and they have about a foot of travel. I went and looked at the machine. Both shocks were broken off at the attachment point, I think they definitely absorbed a lot of the impact. I was also wearing a helmet, normally I just wear a pair of aircraft intercom radio headsets. The field was also freshly plowed. I had a lot of good luck on this one. AND if anyone wants to know ... yes it hurts a bunch even with muscle relaxants and pain pills. Oh well lesson learned ... I hope ;)

I know it must hurt. I do not even now how you manage to keep in touch here in P5. Even your finger nails must hurt. As far as I can see, almost all threads have stopped. Everybody here must be thinking of your well being.
