Since this is December 7th I would like to share this video.
My brothers son interviewed his grandfather for a school project.
He shot the video of the interview and I edited it with some of his vintage film that he had when he was in the Navy.
I also created the intro graphics of the timeline of the attack.

You are right about that.
I so wish I was doing this or even had a video camera when my dad was around. He had a lot of interesting stories when he was in the Navy during WWII
Don, you should have someone interview you or just do it yourself about you being a phantom pilot.

yup ... there I was at the edge of space ... out of control and tumbling like a falling leaf ... both engines compressor stalled ... the ground reaching up with it's devastating hands ... life and death with every movement .....

oh sorry got side tracked. Yes there are so many family stories that are lost forever. The day before my father died I setup a video camera and recorded his first 20 years of his life. I was going to do another part each day ... he didn't make it.
