Editorial Vs Commercial

I have a question maybe someone can answer. I’ve noticed some of my pictures and video are marked editorial when I have found a few similar videos and pictures of the same exact subject matter that are marked commercial without any releases etc...

How is it that a lot of my content is marked editorial where others are marked commercial and they are of some of the exact same subjects (building or structure)?

Buildings or homes that are the main subject of the video need a property release or it should be marked as editorial.
If there are others that have been online for a while and not marked editorial could be a change of rules or a more strict reviewer in your case.
Have you asked Pond5 support to give you the answer?

Case in point was a aerial video of my own house. Closeup of it.
I was asked for s property release.

I figured that much about the property release. I just was curious how they got away with it. But I agree it’s most likely something changed over time with stricter guidelines.
