Problems Uploading?

@jakerbreaker - I see you sent in a support request last Saturday, and one of my colleagues responded on Monday with some advice. The ticket was closed after that because we never got another reply from you. If you sent one, then I apologize, as it would appear that must have fallen through the cracks.

I have seen a few tickets come in this week about upload troubles, but every one of them has been a case of wrong username/password on the FTP system, or a genuine issue with the item being uploaded. I don't see anything that indicates there's a problem with the system as a whole, but we are of course keeping an eye on it.

Anytime one of the FTP servers is giving you trouble, a great troubleshooting step is to try using one of the other servers. For example, if you can't connect to ftp.pond5.com, then try connecting to ftp2.pond5.com, or ftp3.pond5.com. And of course, don't be afraid to reach out to us in support.

I'm having trouble with both the FTP and Web uploads.... I've changed to different FTP servers and still have no results. My time is limited so it's quite frustrating for me - hopefully this issue will get sorted quick.

Thanks Jonathan. I think I replied but there is a chance I didn't actually send it. The problem seemed to have fixed itself after several days. It happened again this morning but I switched servers and it seemed to work. Sometimes it does not. I will let you know if anything happens again.

Okay, so I totally spoke too soon. I can confirm there are problems with the uploading system right now. Nothing seems to be working at all, as of 8:48pm Eastern. But don't worry, we're alerting the team now, so it should be back up soon. I'll keep ya'll as informed as I can.

There are like 10,000 files queued up between ftp1 and 2 (3 and 4 seem to be mirror images of those 2 ftps)... is something wrong or just crazy amount of files coming through?
