Vivaldi
Antonio Vivaldi (1678–1741) was an influential Italian Baroque composer, virtuoso violinist, and priest, known for his vibrant compositions and contributions to instrumental and choral music. Born in Venice, Vivaldi became a music teacher at the Ospedale della Pietà, an orphanage for girls, where he wrote many of his works. His most famous composition, *The Four Seasons*, showcases his innovative style and expressive use of melody, rhythm, and orchestration. A prolific composer with hundreds of concertos, operas, and choral works, Vivaldi's music shaped the Baroque period and continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
