Travel Sliders

Hello all, I'm looking for a decent travel slider, any recommendations? Ideally if possible, I'd like it to fit on to a joby gorillapod the SLR voom version. I think a slider would be a good addition to my stock arsenal!

Look at edelkrone. They have a bunch of good options. I have not used their new product called the wing but it is something I plan to get for traveling. Super small and light. I have most all of their gear they make. They are a fantastic company.

I wouldn't put any slider on a Gorillapod though. It's tough enough to just have one big sturdy tripod...

I bought the ProAm Edelkrone knock off and it's every bit as good as the Edelkrone. VERY smooth, is only 20-inches long, but has a 40-inch travel distance. Came with a really strong nylon case.

Before I go on another trip (especially in boat or on plane) the Edelkrone Wing will be part of my kit. Be nice if they figured out a small/easy way to motorize/automate the Wing for slow/precise and timelapse modes. The bigger Edelkrone is still too big for just having around, and the motion control stuff makes it very heavy.

I had a look at Edelkrone it looked pretty sweet, but being the poor student that I am, I've chose to go the cheaper option: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162234247297 Decent reviews online, and looks like it'll do the job I'm looking for. Plus free postage which is always a plus ;)

Have to say, for only fifty bucks more I would have gone the edelkrone route. I have had some issues with a couple pieces of their equipment and they had amazing customer service and resolved everything immediately. Plus they have 10% off right now through Nov. 1. That being said, I will be interested to hear how the proaim slider handles itself. Anyone know of any wing nock offs?
