FØREST FIRES is the solo project of Pedro Barceló, known for his role as the guitar player of LÖBO, a sludge/doom metal band from Lisbon. The musician is a professional sound engineer and dubbing mixer, having started FØREST FIRES for his need to create sound elements, sound effects and soundtracks for movies and advertising.

Portugal's alternative electronic unit FØREST FIRES have released two EPs entitled "I" and "II", respectively. Pedro Barceló comments on his music: «My songs are focused in the possibility of climate change and its consequences, so the tracks were created with the idea of alluding to this scourge. The release is split into two EPs, "I" and "II", respectively, where "I" deals with the causes of climate change and "II" with its consequences.»
