Fascinated by music from an early age, she began her career as a composer in Gdansk, writing orchestral music and contemporary scores for chamber ensembles. She then turned her interests towards conducting. She completed her orchestral and opera conducting PhD at the University of Music in Warsaw. She performed her own works with various orchestra ensembles. In addition to classical music, Monika pursues other genres – film, plays, TV and video game scores.
