For those of you with 5D Mk III and Lumix GH3
IPB or All-Intra - which is better?

I'd say All-I would possibly be more superior, since each frame is given individual attention when compressing.

From Canon Rep I talked to a week ago All-I. But he said you need a quality high speed CF / SD card. The old cf x133 will not keep it going.

Canon users: FORGIVE ME FOR I HAVE SIN; before I pressed the accept button, I change my order from a Canon 60D to LUMIX GH3 which will arrive Friday night. It is already in the UPS plane.
Since I plan to buy the BMPCC in December, it did not sound cost effective for me to be buying two different type of lenses.
At least the GH3 is not a "plastic" camera.
I plan to shoot both with IPB and All-Intra clips this weekend. I think that for this particular camera IPB (50 mbs) has the highest quality.
I believe I'll be the third or fourth GH3 user in P5.

Ok, I'll come clean too. I also got a GH3 last week. I guess we are on the same wavelength.
Since I was also getting the BMPCC, I figured I was going to get rid of my T3i, which would leave me sans still camera. Plus, I'll probably be accumulating MFT lenses, so why not?
I've been shooting video at 72 Mbps and it looks great.
I'm not a fan of the electronic view finder, but I really like the camera otherwise. Plus, it shoots timelapse, is slightly smaller making travel easier (going to Miami tomorrow), AND shoots 60p at 1080!!
I got this one with it (sorry, the only MFT lens I have as of now is a 7.5mm fish eye):

The Voigtlander Nokton 17.5mm f/0.95 Lens looks to be a great lens for the GH3

"I believe I'll be the third or fourth GH3 user in P5." let me change that to: I believe I'll be the forth or fifth GH3 user in P5." jejejeje

I am very impressed with this little camera. It is smaller than what I expected; smaller than the T2i but has a better grip. Low noise performance much better than the T2i and I am using the cheapest lens (14-42mm f/3.5-5.6). Buttons are placed so that you can set up a shot in seconds in manual mode (at least for my hand size). No 1920x1080 60p All-Intra. It has 1920x1080 60p 50 mbs IPB and 1920x1080 60p 28 mbs AVCHD. Auto-focus in video is like a camcorder; fast. I think I'll be using pin point focus a lot. Just put the camera in the tripod and touch the screen where you want to focus.
Not heavy; I can carry it all day in a pouch.
I am using the Extreme Pro 95 mb/s SDHC card, just to make sure that All-Intra files come out perfect (not corrupted).
Now to find out which works better for me: All-I @30p or IPB.@30p. I wish it had 60p All-I.
