Yes, very awesome - particularly the "glass" list in the credits... low f stop lenses all the way. Very cool.

Don, the noise reduction does take a long time to render in AE. But I set my videos to do a batch render so I just let it do its thing at night when I'm sleeping :-)
Andy, I understand what you're saying. I have a 50mm f1.4 and but at times I still need to shoot over 1000iso.
The main problem is not that we're looking for problems with new cameras. But the noise issue is real and if there is noise in the video, it will be rejected for use as stock.
And my main goal, is if I see noise I'm going to correct or scrap that clip before it's uploaded.

Hey Jake, I understand your point. I believe all the camera mfg's are seriously looking for clean solutions to this. Of course the simplest is to have outrageous ISO settings available. I read somewhere that some of the new stuff coming will go to some ludicrous high ISO (something along the lines of 34600!) - Crazy... but I think for our purposes, using tools such as AE and others mentioned, it will suffice. One thing I have noticed is that watching TV in particular, they are getting looser and looser on the quality. Particularly in the "realty" show arena. One must start asking the question - as with everything - "When is good, good enough?" - It seems as this is becoming the norm... and basically, the philosophy is "let's get this show out as fast as possible." - almost like mass production. :) But I still believe, when all is said and done, if a shot is unique, framed well, and well, unique - it will sell. I personally try like heck to avoid low light situations as I know the limitations of my equipment. But some tend to forget their equipment's limitations and shoot anyway. Of course if I had a pile of gold handy, I would also be doing things like this: http://reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=40947 - Anybody wanna send me some gold? ;P

The 5d has a setting that tolerates a higher iso with less noise, it sucks up a little more power. Most people don't seem to know about it, it has a weird name in the menu. I use a 1.4 asahi lense.
I agree Andy, now cameras are so good now.
But camera companies are probably going to come out with more features to get more buyers
Of course I added a few new features to my 5d.....

Canon's official release date is February 24th... B&H was on vacation all weekend so they haven't upgraded their site info on it... As soon as they do, I'm pre-ordering the T2i kit.

C.Fn II:Image setting.
Then on High ISO speed noise reduction and try the "strong" setting.
It resets the sensor components at a faster rate sucking up more power but there is less noise.

I'm selling all my video equipment and my old rebel XT and buying the T2i (if it is as good as it appears to be). With the extra bundle of cash I'll be able to afford the http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/647013-USA/Canon_3560B002_EF_S_15_85mm_f_3_5_5_6_IS.html.... I can't wait to improve upon my stock collection, let alone be able to utilize this camera for great stills! This camera better be what it says it is...
