What is the Global Partner Program?
The Global Partner Program distributes your works to a group of hand-selected resellers and high-volume customers who have not previously used the Pond5 marketplace.
Where can I track my sales from the Global Partner Program?
You may track your sales from this program and all other sales on your Dashboard. At launch, aggregate sales from the program will be reported monthly.
Your additional earnings made from “GPP” are now paid with your regular payouts and once finalized, will be listed on your financials page for you to view at anytime.
How do I participate?
All Pond5 Artists are automatically enrolled in the program, as outlined in our Contributor Agreement, which now welcomes all Pond5 Artists into our network of global partners.
Will partners have access to my high-resolution content?
No, your high-resolution content is only delivered to end customers after a transaction is processed. Access to your content will be managed via our API.
How will my content be priced in the Global Partner Program?
Deals that are part of the Global Partner Program will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis. These partners tend to have high-volume demands and require custom indemnification and standardized pricing to manage their budgets. We will pool content within a similar price range for buyers based on their budgets, commitments, and licensing needs. Deals sold as part of this program may also include extended licenses, generating additional revenue for participating artists.
By enabling pricing and global distribution adjustments, we believe we’ll be able to maximize exposure for our artists’ content through our network of global partners, introducing their work to an expansive list of Enterprise clients and emerging creative segments. These initiatives significantly expand the distribution potential of our artists’ work to creators worldwide. Think of it as, "What is better: $0 dollars, or a smaller sale from a country that you normally wouldn't be able to offer to?"
Does this program impact my pricing in the Pond5 marketplace?
No. Marketplace pricing will not be impacted. You can continue to set your own prices in the Pond5 marketplace.
How do I opt-out?
Previously, artists could opt out of these programs if they chose, and only 3% of our community did so. However, excluding even a small amount of content limited our ability to develop products and partnerships that make the most of our content library and support our artists' earning potential.
It's important to note that all Contributor accounts are now part of our updated terms and newly expanded programs. If, for any reason you wish not to participate, we will honor your request; however, upon confirmation, your account will be closed. To remove GPP and request the closure of your account, please send an email to support@pond5.com, including your email address on file and username.
