Ian Blunsdon is a British composer, organist, and educator whose work spans choral, classical, and dramatic music. Trained by John Webster and Ronald Frost, with masterclasses from Dame Gillian Weir and Lionel Rogg, he has held senior roles in music education and church music while maintaining a long-standing freelance career. Blunsdon writes clear, practical, and emotionally driven music ,and in 2024 composed the score for the theatrical tragicomedy The Last Lunch, premiered in Athens.
