Steven is a composer, lyricist, playwright, librettist, and arranger, who has written hundreds of songs that have been heard in over 50 countries, and 5 musicals, including two in collaboration with British lyricist Wendy Christopher. His style might be best described as rock-infused modern Broadway, with strains of jazz, blues and Baroque. He has been influenced by such diverse composers as Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd, Cole Porter, Paul Simon, George Gershwin and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
