Stephane Poirier is a pioneer in Vorotrans Art – art made out of transparent Voronoi diagrams. Poirier currently works as a software developer at OIFII.ORG and he is also OIFII.ORG’s founder. At OIFII.ORG, Voronoi diagrams are used, for individual tree level forest texture recognition out of airborne Lidar data, in order to automate the process of building new forest maps for governments.
