Release folder

I've used the release folder before and have had no issues, but recently I placed releases in there and I get the FYI pop up thing that items have been added, but then the releases don't show up...

Please help P5 :-)

I should have answered here the other day but, just for completeness sake. Most release problems has been about the files not being uploaded to a release (or releases) subfolder. The most common cause of problem is uploading to the root of the ftp and then moving the files to the subdirectory. This is no good since the signal the ftp software sends is when an upload is completed. If the file is moved after that it wont be found.

We've added a link to Releases on top of My Uploads. Top right on the releases page you'll find a link to a java uploader who is instructed only to upload to /release on the server.

What was wrong with the old way? Maybe a combination of ftp and individual attaching from files list? Just because it can be done does mean it needs changing ;(. Some of us are programming stupid and just needs a very simple check the file boxes that need a release then click on attach a release button and input the release file location on our own computer. KISS is needed, maybe it is thought that having to ftp releases to a special file is thought to be easier ... don't think so ;(
