GoPro competition: SONY w 60 & 120 fps

Is it 17mpbs or 24 mps mp4 file?

Wow, the Image Stabilization and 120fps makes me want to sell my Gopro now.

Quote from the Sony site:

"Movie Recording Rate(Average Bit Rate/VBR) : HQ:Approx.16Mbps/SSLOW:Approx.24Mbps/SLOW:Approx.12Mbps/STD:Approx.6Mbps/VGA:Approx.3Mbps"

So take your pick but apparently 16 or 17 mbps is the rate for normal recording.
If nothing else the competition is good and hopefully it will make GoPro get on and release the upgraded it has promised for the GoPro Hero2 but keeps failing to deliver(like the 35 mbps data rate promised with the Protune update).

Yup I have several GoPro's but the big square box is just not right for all or even most uses. I think GoPro has some work to do. It really depends on how much marketing they put towards it. GoPro spends a tremendous amount and has a big following.

Wifi, so you can use your Ipad as monitor to frame the clip.
120 fps SSLOW: You do not need to buy a FS700.
This is going to be in my "Must Buy List".
It only needs Wifi Full Manual Control.
