The Ugly Panny Camera

If I were canon, I would release a new cam a few weeks after the panasonic comes out ...to give people time to return the panasonic ;)

Then after 3 months I would release firmware for the 5d2 so that people who stuck with the 5d2 had less incentive to buy another brand. If they didnt upgrade to the 5d3 then they wouldnt have lost sales anyway.

The new firmware also adds features that only work with Canon lenses, so Canon wants to make more money from selling lenses. They hate it that people are sticking pl, panavision, and 3rd party lenses on the 5d.... lots of money could be spent on L series lenses...

No comment about what lens they're using. Big difference between Zeiss Master Primes and a couple of hundred dollar 4/3 kit lens I would think.

Not much competition with that fuzzy camera photo and no video from it to show quality ??
Also, the only price I can find is $23,000 US for the 4k model.
I think Panasonic is safe from this one LOL

The Kinor camera looks like it was design for the military and then modified for civilian applications.

The price of Panasonic's AG-AF101 is 6500.00 USD according to Gigmag.
