Uploads becomes more and more a catastrophe. Will it ever be fixed? :(
Typical failure on web uploader:
Error while processing .......please try again!
Sometimes although the message appears, the processing works correct.
Most times i must upload twice again, sometimes i get it never uploaded. :(
It's not depending on file size nore on format (mov/mpg).

Same error uploading issues here. Constantly have to check, take notes which didn't go through etc. Lots of extra and unnecessary work, very inefficient thus costing P5 and Contributors income...

In the last 3 days the video uploads have gotten painfully slow. No fails or errors though.

Uploading videos and photos is still almost impossible. I wrote support, replied quickly, but the problem was not solved.

at this point, the best way to get them up is uploading individually (each file, so not as a batch).
i am thinking of this workaround (?), since i noticed that when batch-uploading, around 75% fail:
if u have a batch of say 500 clips, make 5 duplicates of each file and upload the resulting total of 3000 files. now, each file has 5 copies and since the fail rate is apx 75%, at least one of those 6 should get uploaded. the 6 copies should be named with a different suffix so to avoid duplicate flag. in the end, parse through the neededits list and remove the 'duplicates', if any.
havent tried it yet so im not sure if it works properly..

I always use FTP and don't have these issues.

Thing is I used to use ftp and it stopped working for me on P5 ... thought it was just my funky internet ... but worked at "those other places" I figured out after a while, but kept failing/repeating on P5. So I went to Web Uploader, asked, begged, pleaded for a way to make the uploads work one at a time, as if even two at a time both, both fail ... so it makes system a real PITA. Had a great day yesterday ... uploaded all my files each no problem ... but the day before uploaded one 900MB file three times (renaming each time!) before it finally went up .. sad thing is the previous two times I watched it go to 100% then fail.
I hope they fix this real soon.

I'm also having these issues. The web uploader keeps failing because an error occurred. When I use FTP some of the files don't show up in my uploads, even though my FTP client says the transfer is complete.

And with me the upload is very bad. Typically, about 30% of the uploaded video files are processed successfully. The last batch appeared 100%, processed them, and 4 out of 11 videos appeared in the pending review. I'm uploading them to ITF lots.
