views and sales

Today I dont see a lot of peoples portfolios either. See the Mini but no main port.

My views almost always go up in multiples of five. I am new, is that normal?

My views seemed to have stopped for about a month. Strange. Then they started again. Sales if new uploaded clips froze at that point and unfroze as of about a week ago. Or maybe I am imagining it...

I also noticed this weird thing of multiple of 5 in views...it is 10 or 15, I was surprised how many views in short time... I don't think is normal at all.

@videoopp Just like when you sell books; you have to trust your printer. Here we have to trust P5 and P5 has to trust the company responsible for storing all our clips. The advantage of using only one video distribution company is that if you ever see in TV one of your clips that have never been sold and that you have not given away for free, you know immediately that something wrong is going on. If you are using different companies then you will never know which company is not doing their job of protecting your files. Since I have been here selling exclusively through P5, I have never seen anybody report of a clip that has appeared in TV or in any other media that was not sold. The exemption are clips used with the blurred P5 logo by Youtubers.

Yeah, for some reason I will see my views at 0 or 5 and it jumps by five all of a sudden. Because I am new, almost all of my clips are 1, 5 or 10. No big deal, just think the counter is not working correctly or updates only after five views or something.

I trust Pond5, I just worry that some coder or even some hacker for that matter could conceivably set up some code that credits their account instead of the artist for a certain percentage of random sales. We read in another thread about artists throwing up short clips with odd key words that are getting sales.... Hmmmmm

I still can't figure out how so many footage with no keywords or descriptions sell.

My views are not working at all.Exact same issue,One of my videos have been added to someones card and it doesn't have a sngle view.Very strange bug.I would like if this issue was fixed.

I have many sales that don't show up as views in the bin. A sale is a sale, but it would be really useful to get some useful feedback for views, adding to bin, and so on
