Leo Ferri was born in Florence, Italy. After his studies in philosophy and anthropology he began to study photography and cinematography in Italy between Florence and Turin. Leo have worked as a Video Journalist from 2004, making awarded reportages from Romania, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. Between 2005 and 2010 he followed the Nepalese Maoist revolution and has made a reportage which was broadcasted on internationals televisions and screened in several film festivals.
