You can't record 4K internally

That is pure wretchedness, truly.

It is but if it had it I would really want it! They are saying it is quad HD i.e. 1920x1080 x4. The good news from the show for me is that Atmos have a 4K HDMI recorder, so they GH4 I have on preorder will be able to record 10 bit 4.2.2. ProRes.

I was looking at the Atmos monitor / recorders also at NAB today. Might get one for 5D MK III but when deciding on 4K the upscale one would be great.

Looks like the 4K Atmos is going to be around $2K

The A7 has some pretty bad rolling shutter. But just don't pan back and forth like a fool :)

Someday there will be a rolling shutter plugin for AE so we can get that vintage look. It will probably be best used as an expression, under the shakycam suite.

Hummm, maybe GoPro will crack the 4K 30 fps before the big expensive guys. BMC and Sony just can't figure it out yet. Canon in a presentation was asked many questions about 4K and seemed proud of 1D but they were quickly told 24 fps just is not what is wanted or needed. He said they were working but he really had no answer on what is happening with 30 fps or faster. He did acknowledge that most music videos are shot at 48 fps and some at 120 fps so they know 4K at higher frame rates is wanted and wanted soon.

Miz - there are lots of "solutions" to correct rolling shutter issues... some pretty good, some not so good https://www.google.com/search?q=after+effects+rolling+shutter+plugin&rlz=1C1PRFC_enUS516US517&oq=after+effects+rolling+shutter+&aqs=chrome.4.69i57j0l5.15437j0j7&sourceid=chrome&espv=210&es_sm=93&ie=UTF-8
