Im days away from purchasing this great little 1'' sony camera.So far what i've seen makes me certain that this is THE camera for stock and not only.Looks great for documentary use too.
Dynamic range looks similar to my C100 from what i can tell,and the image is on par with the A7S, although the "sony look" is not really to my taste,but there is a log profile standard (s-log2) so i think i might be able to work around that.
Waiting for more reviews and especially high iso clips to play with.
Has anyone purchased it yet?Any insights,info, etc?

At first glance this camera provides all the pros of my GH4 and AX100 combined, and may even feature a bit of the A7S in terms of better low light capabilities. I'll try to drop by a store this week to have a look, it seems interesting.

Im almost obsessing about this camera.I want to relive my hv20 days with it but with a cinema camera aesthetic.If iso at 3200 proves above average im going for it.People have been hinting that iso 6400 is usable but the picture wont be as bright as a full frame camera.Still...
The major irony is that Sony (and only Sony) due to the capital controls in Greece ,has delayed all shipments and noone knows when they will deliver.

Looks very nice, wish it had better sensor size... but you can't have it all. Price is good.

2.8 constant aperture + weather proof + earphone + silent zoom pay for the price increase over the Panasonic FZ1000.

Wish Canon would have a real look around and realize a high quality photo camera with great 4K capability at the $2,500 - $3,500 price would be a big seller. Both Canon and Nikon are asleep at the wheel. It will happen but how many photogs will jump ship and can't come back.

Do a good side-by-side 4K video and photos between this and the AX-100 and show us untouched examples. I believe the photos should be much better, will be interested in seeing the 4k video. Is the 4K at 100mbs like AX-100? Would love to get back to a single camera for video and photos.
