My name is Vilakshan, an independent composer, guitarist & pianist based in India, specialising in cinematic, neo-classical, orchestral & ambient music for film, documentary & media. My work spans dramatic orchestral scores, minimal solo piano, meditative ambient soundscapes and lo-fi neoclassical all composed & produced independently.My music draws on both Western classical tradition and Indian musical sensibility, creating a distinctive sound that is emotionally layered & atmospherically rich.
