Film Noir contest

Just an update.

I really enjoyed this, you done a great job on it.

I would have liked to have seen:
1) A cigarette constantly burning in an ash tray on his desk
2) A rainy street scene with an old street light and the camera viewing him typing through the window
3) A diner scene all chrome and formica

On the things you would have liked to see:

1) I don't smoke and the short scenes were I do have the cigarette was choking me and had to do a number of re-takes. Also the smell in our house was something I didn't want, so a longer scene wasn't happening LOL

2) that would have been cool. I actually did have in the shot list to do a scene looking through the window but didn't think of rain. Never actually did that scene though.

3) also would be a cool scene but the furniture we have worked for the period and didn't have access to the chrome and Formica.
Anyway, we were trying for the mid 40's look. Wasn't chrome and Formica furniture popular in the 50's and 60's?
