so suddenly pond5 has got stricter it seems i just had a 100 HD clips rejected due to compression which i was using .mov but only way i can get compression higher is to use mp4 surely mp4 is lower quality even though premiere pro it makes file size bigger, any suggestions would be great as i don't want to keep getting rejections what makes me sad that this is first time i had pond 5 reject so many yet this used to be the less strict site out there,

Do they mean you have to much compression already? Not that you need more compression.
I'm just guessing here but maybe they are seeing some compression artifacts in your videos and that's the reason for the rejections.
But at any rate, yes Pond5 has become more strict on what they will accept. Actually that is a very good thing for this site and ultimately our sales.

it is possible that they saw compression artifacts yeah i mean i can get them much higher at mp4 will they accept mp4 videos? i rather .mov but any setting i choose it still seems compressed, i guessing with 4k quality they want the hd to look at its best as well just annoying for me as my internet speed not great

What is your compression setting when rendering?
I only submit mov, but I think they do accept mp4

if i use DVCPRO codec i think quality may be better but the file size is massive will take ages to upload

do they accept that codec then? i rang them today to complain they said i should use pro res codec? i dont see it on premiere pro for quick time? i just hope they dont reject them again, if continues this way i will just stick to shuttlestock which are strict to but at least there not unreasonable, pond5 went from easy going to very strict.... i get the feeling to many people are uploading now
