I'm not worried about HFR honestly, it's a fun feature but far from a requirement.

Ordered ... arrived. Nice looking little 4K backup camera. Now looking forward to a great primary 4K shooters with superb photos.

The video is sharp, the photos are excellent. Biggest problem I've seen is on autofocus and shooting video the focus will search a little and lose sharpness while video is recording; not everytime but too often.

Any experience in between with adapter for Canon EF lenses?

The RX-10 II is a fixed non-removable lens. The A7 models can work with adapter. It would be good to hear a P5 Artist review of that camera and adapter.

That's the same boat I'm in. I have over a half dozen expensive "L" lenses and hate to sell them as used to change manufacturer. I still have hope that Canon will wake up and get on the boat with a great 4K dslr. In the meantime, this little $1,200 camera looks very promising. The new A7's look promising also but having to use the Metabones is a last option but might be necessary if Canon stays in hibernation.

In EU, this camera cost now €1460. Not as cheap as in the US. The European are dumm, or the Japanese are clever. I will wait until Panasonic FZ2000 come out. The RX10 II will drop too. :D
