Yosuke Hashimoto began his music career as a musician who put emphasis on the writing of poetry and a sound engineer in the late 1980s. After releasing two solo albums, he formed a band called “Yosuke Hahimoto Trio.” Incorporating the elements of Tropicalia, Afro, reggae and spoken-words. Based in Otaru city in Hokkaido, Hashimoto has been performing with a number of visiting musicians as well as influenced by local artists.
