This is tongue in cheek only: I'm holding out until the free potato peeler is thrown in with the offer.
JHDT_Productions 17 Oct 2014 21:25
Not me, I want the peeler.

And we believe someone at IS? Really?

Hay it might be trade mark infringement with your statement since Jake and I are the world's expert and most successful stock footage producers in the world. What is an Ubberstock? .... sounds nasty ;) Is it similar to UdderStock?

Hey Andy, I thought your book was the world's great stock footage book .... boy oh boy there is confusing statements being made here LOL

Too bad and weird they are the greatest and have ZERO footage on Pond5 as "Stock_Footage_Millionaire" the Worlds Greatest and most fair stock agency in the World! Uberstock has a few sales here but far from the top 100 it appears. Did someone say IS is better at 15% .... hummmm different math than I learned ;)

Uberstock:
Total Clips on P5: 7348
Number of clips sold at least once: 200
Best Selling clip sold: 18 times

GrayScale:
Total Clips on P5: 1529
Number of Clips sold at least once: 196
Best Selling clip sold: 29 times

Run your fancy analytics on that one, then tell me to buy your book!

Charles, my personal view on your endeavor is the name is pretty pompous. "stock footage millionaire" ?
A real turn off. While you may have made 1.2 million (as reported by SS) in your career which is pretty good it hardly makes you a millionaire.

If you are teaching people how to bring their work to the next level with a DSLR, one man company and no budget as most people do then my hats off to you.
But if you are going to tell us how to bring our work to the next level by using a RED, high budget and a team of shooters, you are barking up the wrong tree and are following the footsteps of Yuri.

Most of us know how to shoot what sells. And if I had a team of people shooting for me like you I would be writing the next book as well.

Also, I would highly recommend to disassociate yourself with Istock using Jim as a plug. He no longer works for Istock for one thing and they are the worst in this industry with royalties and this last debauchery of cutting non exclusive pay per video sale to less than half of what we used to get is unacceptable.

May be his shooting team get only 15% commission from his net iStock's income !!
So true, he need to have other source of income, like writing a BS book ... LOL

BTW if I am a successful video shooter making million dollar net , I will keep everything secret to myself.
Hey Man, we are not stupid to buy a book like this.
