Where is Batch Tag Video????

Hey I havent uploaded clips in a while, but when I do I upload like 40- 100 at a time.

I use a variety of cameras, gopro, 5d, gh4, some include people some do not.... some are CG... I use Batch tagging a lot because of the different things I use. Like I select 20 clips and say these were go pro, 40 are set to gh4 etc. Some are set to contains people.... Using templates for this is a little confusing because I have to create one for each scenario.

Batch editing for my situation is much easier.

Wonder if anyone asked the higher uploading Artists on what would help before taking capabilities away. The Template is NOT the same as Batch Tag as can be seen from so many comments here.

They could have done
Batch tag HD
Batch tag 4K

Wasn't the Template function already there. They just needed to fix the pricing issue which was done in Preferences. Only real change needed was to put Model release input in Batch Tag and Templates. Oh well, the only time fixes were reversed was when the we went from V1 to V2 where Artists could continue using V1 if desired. Oh welllll.

Another thing. What if I visit another state, I get 40 clips from ohio. I want to put ohio as the location on 40 clips, or I have 20 clips with with similar keywords.

Using the template system will quickly clutter up the number templates.

From what I gather, nobody at Pond5 actually uses the site, so they don't understand how it works or how artists actually use it. Couple that with the fact that they don't communicate with us any more and you get useful features taken away and broken stuff go unfixed for months and years.

If the powers that be refuse to bring back batch tag video, then at least add to the actions dropdown:

1. Add camera data
2. Add location

Add ratio
Add Sound or not
Add Model / Property Release

Both of these should be automatically filled based on the file. We keep getting changes that really do little to help speed things up .. and actually slow things down.

Pond5, please let us have back Batch Tag Video!
