The Gondoletta existed since 1981 and consists of 40 boats on an automatic navigation system, which was originally intended as a test for Fata Morgana. However, it was such a success that the Efteling Gondoletta retained as full attraction. In terms of area, is the biggest attraction of the Efteling. It gets in the boat by means of a large rotating disc, which was used later to attractions like Fata Morgana Festival and Carnival. Underwater are large rotating discs, for the boats, attached to a large steel cable, making it possible to create curves. The ritsysteem for Gondoletta is provided by Intamin.
