Born and raised in London, Chris studied piano, guitar and vocals from the age of 6. At age 18 he left school and began playing music in night clubs and bars around London where he met up with 80's chart band "A Flock of Seagulls". He joined them as keyboard player and backing vocalist on their USA and Canadian tour in 1986. In 1991 he was appointed Lead singer for SKY Television's variety show 'The Happening'.
