Adrian Hernandez
An aspiring up and coming composer, Adrian Lino Hernandez is gaining momentum on the music scene across the country. From his concert music, to his music for films, and arrangements for all types ensembles, all trades of his work are premiering around the country. Adrian’s recent highlights of his work include the premiere of "Hellrot: Work for Euphonium and Orchestra" at the 2010 Annual Tuba-Euphonium Conference, Randy Hawes, bass trombonist with the Detroit Symphony, recording "Drifting Tides: Rhapsody for Bass Trombone" and scoring a tribute film for posthumous Medal of Honor recipient, entitled "Choice of Honor".

In addition to his work within the concert hall, Adrian has a continued growing experience as a composer for film. With many films and documentaries to his credit, his film scores have been heard in the LA United Film Festival, Chicago United Film Festival, Cinebites Film Festival, Emerging Filmmakers Project, Hollywood East Film Festival (Winner of Gold Coast Award), Garden State Film Festival (Winner for Best PSA), Starz Denver Film Festival, and Estes Park Film Festival (Winner for Excellence in Filmmaking). Adrian recently participated in the 2011 ASCAP/NYC Film Scoring workshop receiving mentoring from Sean Callery (from TV show "24"), Mark Snow (from TV Show "X-Files"), and Ira Newborn (from "The Naked Gun" series).

A native of Dallas, TX, Mr. Hernandez received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas at Austin where he received his training as a composer under Pulitzer Prize winning composer Kevin Puts. Adrian is currently working on his Master’s Degree from Towson University under Dr. Jonathan Leshnoff and Dr. William Kleinsasser. He currently resides in Baltimore, MD with his wife, Heather, and sons, Michael and Austin.
