Coast Road
Grooving 99bpm, elegant, stridently confident uplifting instrumentals, with a disco bass groove, ambient, with a little esoteric guitar thrown in for good measure. There are subtle variations in mix, with or without guitars, and with or without synth melodies. 'Coast Road' is the main track, which has a little of everything. Style wise, think Jamiroquai, or even a little Duran Duran or Roxy Music thrown in. Enjoy......
Incidentally............
These tracks are incidental music, very much for depicting certain atmospheres, rather than outright tunes - of the sort typically used in underscores.
Electrorchestra
Orchestras and Electronic musicians should hang out more often I feel. Here are some tracks where I've brought the two together. 'Neptune' takes analog drum machines and vintage synths and blends them with 21st century stylings, while 'Subterfuge' puts a 5/4 ear worm in your head and develops it into a symphonic blast of energy.
Melancholic Pathos
A trio of minimalist Piano Solos - 'Acceptance', 'Other Field' and the title track. Depicting emotional, reflective scenes, ideal for intriguing characters of complexity. Perhaps more for cerebral dramas, or to portray atmospheres of space and thought, Melancholic Pathos should at least give pause for reflection.
Happy Summer Carnival
Samba/mambo style latin ballroom dancing piece with many edits for a variety of applications - is it a beach party? Or just simply the joy of life? Simple, eminently loopable fun.
Aftermath
Classy horn led RnB drum groove with a full orchestral sound, with heartfelt soulful piano. Absorbing.
