Windmill hill near the site of The Battle of Edgehill
The First English Civil War in Warwickshire. Built in the early 18th century. Barrel shaped stone tower. The mill operated until 1915 when it was struck by lightening. In 1935 the sails were replaced and further restoration was carried out in 1951. The final restoration, paid for by the Marquess of Northampton, was carried out by D. Ogden during the period of 1968–1975.

a elongated pyramid made of local ironstone, topped with a ball finial in the middle of a crop field. probably put up in the 16th century as a signalling beacon – an iron hook protruded from the finial, and this supported a flaming lantern. It may have been used in 1588 as part of the chain of beacons that warned of the arrival of the Spanish Armada.
