Shooting Star
A collection of remixes featuring the #3 UK hit song Shooting Star, written by Nick Arnold of Juicy Lemon Music. Covered by Flip 'n' Fill (AATW in July 2002 and going straight in at #3 in the official UK national chart, Shooting Star cemented its ability to being both memorable and versatile in several different genres. Whilst the vast majority of versions are dance oriented, this collection focuses in a beautiful, soft piano/vocal rendition which shows that Shooting Star can stand alone as a great song wherever it goes. There is also a stand alone a capella which on its own, absolutely defines what a great song should be. The Adult Oriented Rock (AOR) mix again shows the song's vesatility with a glorious vocal performed by Rachel Friday and terrific guitar by Christoher Groucutt. From Beethoven's "Fur Elise" to Chopin's "Funeral March", these will all be familiar to the vast majority of the general public.
