Marie "Mimi" Kazalia studied film photography and wet darkroom techniques in an art school in San Francisco as part of her BFA degree, later switching to Nikon DSLRs and Mirrorless Z cameras with an emphasis on photographing food, nature, and travel scenes, with a current emphasis on using a 105mm macro lens and focus stacking.
